Had the best newborn photoshoot with Jodie. She is super friendly and professional and so patient and caring with our baby.
The photos are so perfect and she took such a good variety that we ended up having them all!
Talked us into getting a couple of family pics which I can’t thank her enough for as they are such amazing memories and some of my favourites, we was able to personalise the shoot with our own colour preference and poses as well.

So glad we came to Jodie for our newborn photoshoot! She managed to fit us in last minute as I had forgot to book in. I was worried my son was too old and had lost the newborn scrunch so wanted to cancel, but Jodie worked her magic and managed to get the most beautiful pictures. I was very nervous how the shoot would go but within minutes of arriving Jodie put me at ease and I instantly felt relaxed! My newborn photoshoot was amazing. From the photoshoot to getting the images, everything was done perfectly. I didn’t know what I wanted due to I’ve never had this before but jodie did more than I can ever imagine. My photos are amazing. I can’t wait for a sitter session.
Jodie has been amazing from start to finish! I sent Jodie a message about photographing our baby and she was able to capture the most amazing pictures of our 11 day old. Jodie’s studio is amazing and the care she put into creating the pictures I wanted was not a problem, we were able to discuss themes, colours and style and Jodie advised me, taking all my ideas and wishes into consideration. The end product was AMAZING! We cannot reccomend Jodie’s services enough!
So glad we chose Jodie for our newborn & family shoot. After seeing her work when I was pregnant I knew I had to book in. I was nervous before the shoot wondering how the baby would be and the older children, but Jodie made me feel at ease as soon as we came. Our baby was wide awake to start off with and Jodie was patient and made us feel at ease, helping settling our little girl and getting the most perfect pictures of her and our family. Such a great service and I would recommend Jodie to anyone wanting to capture their special memories. Jodie did a newborn and sibling shoot for us a few days ago. We felt completely at ease with her and were delighted with the photographs she created. We were apprehensive at first as you never know how little ones are going to behave but Jodie did a fantastic job. She made the whole process unbelievably easy, all we did was show up. Highly recommend Jodie Wellings Photography!
From the moment we arrived at her home studio we knew we had chosen the right photographer! We were made to feel welcome from the moment Jodie opened the door, she is so lovely and professional! Everything about the photoshoot was easy – the location, the parking, access etc, with being 32 weeks pregnant and having a 3 year old, this is exactly what I needed.
The photoshoot itself was amazing, it didn’t feel rushed at all, and Jodie was very patient with my little boy, even letting him play in the garden when he needed to blow off some steam!
I have just received the photos back from the Maternity shoot and wow, they are absolutely stunning, so much better than I could ever of imagined.

My husband booked me in for a surprise maternity shoot, i was excited but nervous…. there was no need to be- Jodie is an absolute angel, her personality just made me instantly relax and i felt like i had known her years. She listened to what i said and also what i didnt say and made sure i was comfortable. After an hour, i was butt naked allowing her to take pictures and actually laughing! Such a relaxing atmosphere and she doesnt even have to work hard to make it that way!
Cakesmash
Jodie was so patient with Hattie as she wouldn’t sit still but she didn’t rush us she worked around Harriet. It was such a fun experience . I also explained that Harriet was allergic to dairy and eggs , she went to the cake maker who provides the cakes for the cake smash and they made her a vegan cake . I could not recommend her enough. Thankyou jodie for a lovely experience💕

I’ve used Jodie for the past few years for a range of different events. She’s photographed 2 newborns, 2 cakesmash, 2 christenings, 1 maternity shoot, a Wedding and a family session for our family and I can honestly say I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.
We have just had our 4th Christmas photo shoot and again Jodie was so patient with the kids. We have 4 so you can imagine how hard it is for her trying to capture images where they are all looking! She has plenty of tricks up her sleeve though to catch the little ones attention!
The service we have received every time is second to none, Jodie goes above and beyond and we can’t thank her enough for capturing some of our most precious moments.

Wedding
Jodie was our wedding photographer and did an amazing job. We booked the Cherish package.
We had a video call consultation where we explained what we wanted and how the day was arranged to get the most from our photos. Jodie was very friendly and professional throughout.
On the big day Jodie was able to organise everyone for photos getting exactly what we asked for, as well as helping me keep calm at times 😂
We’ve just received our prints and we’re over the moon with them. A family member and close friend have since booked Jodie for their own shoots too.

I met Jodie many many years ago at a local event where she was advertising her baby photography services but after chatting to her I found out she did weddings as well.
Her photography was so beautiful I knew straight away I wanted her for my wedding.
My husband agreed once he saw her photos.
Jodie was also the photographer for my cousins wedding a couple of years before mine so we knew we were definitely in great hands.
From start to finish Jodies service was fantastic and we couldn’t have been happier with the final photos.
She always responds quickly to messages and is kind and really cares about your day and how to make it special for you.
We had a meeting before the big day to go through timings and what photos we wanted to have on the day (which we had a lot of guests so there were a lot of photos haha) and Jodie got them all.
On the day she never felt intrusive with where she positioned herself and just felt like a natural addition to the day and she captured everything perfectly.
